Executive Functioning Support

Students are taught executive functioning skills through modeling and technology integration. Students learn to manage workloads through calendaring, emphasizing the importance of learning style and stress/anxiety reduction. All areas of curriculum are covered in this holistic approach that emphasizes both proactivity and accountability. Executive functioning support is especially beneficial for students with diagnosed Learning Differences (LD).

Subject Tutoring

Weekly or semiweekly tutoring services are available for Pre Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Social Sciences, and English. Sessions are 50 minutes in duration but may be extended based on need, particularly while preparing for final exams. Students will review class material, dive into advanced concepts with new approaches, and work ahead instead of catching up. Students are expected to be willing and active participants in all sessions in order to receive the fullest benefit from academic assistance.

College Essay Coaching

College application essays are vital components of the admissions process. Essay coaching supports students as they narrow down seventeen years of experience into 650 words. Students develop areas of interest and align existing experiences within a greater narrative. Tone and essay structure are crafted carefully to create an engaging and comprehensive representation of each student.
